Region rules
Xbox codes are not region-locked. PS5 codes only work on a PlayStation account registered in the matching group of countries. Official
On PS5, Rockstar groups countries for code use. For example, Canada and the United States are one group, Australia and New Zealand another, and the United Kingdom is its own. Buy from a retailer in your account's country to avoid problems. Rockstar's full list covers every group.
PlayStation codes bought in Japan expire 170 days after 19 November 2026. Official
Box or digital?
Both need the same download. The main differences are the 10 November pre-load date, which the box may miss by a couple of days, and the GTA+ month, which is digital only. Compare them with the edition picker.
